Abstract

The survey presented in this paper partly proved the main hypothesis "Marital quality and the degree of interpersonal dependency are in inverse proportion, i.e. the higher marital quality, the lower the degree of interpersonal dependency". The phenomenon of interpersonal dependency is derived from the concept of codependency, which is mainly related to alcoholism, but also to other types of mental and physical dependence on the substance or process.
