Abstract

Parkinson's disease is the focus of considerable research. Mark Greener examines some trends in research that may improve the management of this debilitating disease. The growing appreciation of the complex pathology suggests that our understanding of Parkinson's disease may need to undergo a 'fundamental conceptual change' to deliver the treatments needed by patients. © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
