Penanaman Karakter Moralitas dan Disiplin Melalui Program Ekstrakurikuler dan Ko-kurikuler di SMA Negeri 2 Donggo

Abstract

Karakter dapat dipengaruhi oleh ekonomi, globalisasi, pergaulan, dan teknologi, namun kondisi karakter peserta didik cenderung menurun pada aspek moral, tutur kata yang sopan berkurang, merokok di depan guru, bolos sekolah, berkelahi dan terlambat masuk sekolah. Tujuan artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman karakter moralitas dan disiplin melalui program ekstrakurikuler dan ko-kurikuler di SMA Negeri 2 Donggo. Metode penelitian yang telah digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan studi literature. Subyek penelitian yang terlibat adalah kepala sekolah, guru PPKn, guru BK, pembina kegiatan ekstra kurikuler dan pelajar. Pengumpulan data yang telah digunakan yaitu observasi, interview, studi literature. Analisis data yang telah digunakan untuk menganalisis data model interaktif yakni tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, verifikasi  dan penyimpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter moralitas dan disiplin melalui program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dapat dilakukan dengan cara pola pembinaan berupa paskibra, pramuka, OSIS, dan Imtaq. Penanaman ini harus terus dilakukan sesuai dengan kurikulum dan program unggulan sekolah, serta pembinaan moralitas dan disiplin peserta didik sangat penting dilakukan untuk mewujudkan peserta didik berakhlak mulia, bermoral tinggi, kerja keras, disiplin kerja, toleransi  dan  tanggungjawab. Penanaman karakter moralitas dan disiplin melalui program kegiatan ko-kurikuler dapat dilakukan melalui program pembelajaran baik didalam ruangan kelas maupun diluar ruangan kelas dengan mengembangkan mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan, bimbingan konseling dan pendidikan agama.Character can be influenced by the economy, globalization, association, and technology, but the condition of the character of students tends to decrease in the moral aspect, reduced polite speech, smokes in front of the teacher, skips school, fights and is late for school. The purpose of this article is to describe the cultivation of morality and discipline characters through extracurricular and co-curricular programs at SMA Negeri 2 Donggo. The research method that has been used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and literature study. The research subjects involved were school principals, PPKn teachers, BK teachers, extra-curricular activities supervisors and students. Data collection that has been used are observation, interviews, literature studies. Data analysis that has been used to analyze the interactive model data is the stages of data collection, data reduction, verification and data inference. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the cultivation of moral character and discipline through extracurricular activity programs could be carried out by means of a coaching pattern in the form of Paskibra, Scouts, Student Council, and Imtaq. This planting must continue to be carried out in accordance with the curriculum and the school's flagship program, as well as fostering student morality and discipline is very important to realize students with noble character, high morals, hard work, work discipline, tolerance and responsibility. The inculcation of morality and discipline characters through co-curricular activities can be done through learning programs both in the classroom and outside the classroom by developing Pancasila and civic education subjects, counseling guidance and religious education.
