Malófagos (Phthiraptera) recolhidos de aves silvestres no Zoológico de São Paulo, SP, Brasil

Abstract

Chewing lice (Phthiraptera) from wild birds in the São Paulo Zoo, State of São Paulo, SP, Brazil. Twenty-eight species of chewing lice were recovered from wild birds in the São Paulo Zoo during 2003. Twenty-three were identified to species level and five to the generic level. New species records for Brazil and new host-lice associations are discussed.
