Multiple views on an enterprise are needed to model and design business processes systematically. The flow of a process is often the primary model developed. The explicit presentation of the business logic and their use in the business process is another essential artifact. The article discusses the connection between business process modeling with BPMN and the presentation of business logic with "The Decision Model" framework. The framework includes a visual notation, presentation of rule sets, normal forms, presentation principles and the connection to the process model. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
