The current economic and social situation has led to a new way of conceptualizing and understanding the psychological contract from how was defined by the first theorists to a more recent proposals arising within research on organizational and personal needs in the workplace. The aim of this review is to analyze the evolution of the concept and the use(s) of the Psychological Contract in order to analyze what added value it can bring to the present situation. Finally, it aims to investigate the factors, especially the generational one, which can facilitate not replicable psychological contract and therefore retaining talent and organizational satisfaction at the same time the employees' one.
