Analisis Tingkat Kerusakan Jalan Dengan Metode Pavement Condition Index

Abstract

Ruas jalan Latuppa-Bonglo merupakan salah satu jalur utama yang dilalui masyarakat untuk menuju ke Kecamatan Bastem, begitu pun sebaliknya masyarakat masyarakat Bastem yang ingin menuju ke Kota Palopo. Keberadaan ruas jalan ini sangat membantu pergerakan sektoral di wilayah kecamatan Bastem yang terletak di dataran tinggi. Kondisi ruas jalan Latuppa-Bonglo sebagian besar sudah bagus dan layak untuk dilalui, tetapi pada beberapa titik terdapat kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan dan jenis-jenis kerusakan yang terjadi pada ruas jalan poros Latuppa-Bonglo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari lapangan, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode PCI yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan geometric jalan yang terjadi di ruas jalan Latuppa-BongloJenis kerusakan yang terjadi di sepanjang 3.000 meter yaitu amblas, retak pinggir perkerasan, lubang, pelepasan butir dan retak kulit buaya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Pavement Condition Index (PCI), diketahui kondisi perkerasan jalan tiap segmen. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat nilai Pavement Condition Index (PCI untuk ruas jalan poros Latuppa-Bonglo sepanjang 3.000 meter yang menjadi lokasi pada penelitian ini adalah 70,87. Berdasarkan nilai nilai tersebut, maka ruas jalan ini termasuk dalam klasifikasi Sangat Baik (Very Good). The Latuppa-Bonglo road section is one of the main routes for people to go to Bastem District, and vice versa for the people of Bastem who want to go to Palopo City. The existence of this road section is very helpful for sectoral movements in the Bastem sub-district which is located in the highlands. The condition of the Latuppa-Bonglo road section is mostly good and feasible to pass, but at some points there is damage caused by several factors. This study aims to determine the level of damage and types of damage that occurred on the Latuppa-Bonglo axis road. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using descriptive methods. The data obtained from the field were then analyzed using the PCI method which was used to determine the level of road geometric damage that occurred on the Latuppa-Bonglo road section. Based on the results of Pavement Condition Index (PCI) calculations, it is known the condition of the road pavement for each segment. From the calculation results, the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) value for the 3,000-meter Latuppa-Bonglo axis road which is the location of this study is 70.87. Based on these values, this road segment is included in the Very Good classification
