Correlações entre a contagem de citações de pesquisadores brasileiros, usando o web of science, scopus e scholar

Abstract

This work analysis the correlation between bibliometric measures (H index and total amount of citations) obtained using different citation count services (Web of Science, Scholar, Scopus). We computed these bibliometric measures for different researchers from CNPq. So we obtained the correlation between the results obtained metrics for each pair of services. The correlations were calculated for each sub area divided on the following areas: Agriculture Sciences, Biology Sciences, Exact Sciences, Human Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering and Arts. We discussed the meaning of the correlations that were obtained.
