Abstract

This paper presents a data processing system comprised of multiple layers of computational processes that transform the raw binary meteorological data coming directly from two EUMETSAT Metop satellites to our servers, into a ready to visualise and interpret data stream in near real time using techniques varying from software automation, data preprocessing and general data analysis concepts. The proposed system handles the acquisition, decoding, cleaning, processing, and normalization of pollution data in our area of interest of Morocco.
