Asthma is a chronic disease that is characterized by the presence of inflammation of the airways, which can be reversible. Physical exercise can be one of the factors that trigger symptoms in patients with or without a diagnosis of bronchial asthma. Currently there are two hypotheses (thermal and osmotic) that explain the cause of exerciseinduced asthma (EIA). The diagnosis of EIA is established by changes in lung function, caused by exercise, and not depending on the symptoms. There are several pharmacological and nonpharmacological measures aimed at the treatment of EIA. Physical training is beneficial in both children and adults with asthma
