Abstract

We constructed the recombinant infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV), CE strain, containing the LacZ gene of E. coli in the thymidine kinase gene. The growth property of the recombinant virus was almost the same as parental CE strain in chicken embryo fibroblasts. The recombinant CE strain of ILTV could be used as a live vaccine vector. © 1994, JAPANESE SOCIETY OF VETERINARY SCIENCE. All rights reserved.
