Abstract

A convenient synthesis is described of 2,6-bis-polyfluoroalkyl-4H-pyran-4- ones having symmetrical and asymmetrical structures, by dehydration of bis-polyfluoroalkyl- containing 1,3,5-triketones. © ARKAT.
