Abstract

This paper describes briefly the use of a futuristic audiovisual content recorder that supports retrospective episodic memory. The concept was explored by implementing a wearable prototype system, which was used to collect image and audio material over a period of several months. It was confirmed in this wearable computer context that image and audio data could help episodic memory to recall other facts related to that episode. This kind of technology could be useful in both working life as well as in free time.
