Abstract

Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common diagnosis that greatly impacts quality of life for many women. Current therapies implement the use of suburethral slings, either synthetic or xenografts, to remedy this condition. In this study, we report on a patient with SUI, treated with PelviLace® Biourethral Support, who suffered multiple issues postoperatively. © 2009 Blackwell Publishing Ltd and Medicalhelplines.com Inc.
