Abstract

The smart city concept is a service-based smart city arrangement concept, which is transparent and plays a role in making it easier for the public to get information quickly and accurately. There are so many problems that can arise if the local government still applies employee absenteeism manually. One of the smart city implementation efforts that local governments can do is in the field of personnel, namely the development of mobile-based online attendance applications. This is to ensure that employee attendance data is kept safe, current, and accurate. The online attendance application must be able to ensure that all incoming data will be directly stored in the cloud. The leadership can access employee attendance data anytime, anywhere, directly from the application. Agencies can view photos, real-time entry or exit times, and location details in the form of GPS coordinates.
