Abstract

Space rendezvous and docking (RVD) is a difficult and critical mission in spacecraft. The navigation and control (GNC) software plays an important role to complete the task. The functions of RVD control software are complex and timing sequence requirement is strict, which has presented extremely high requirements for software testing. This paper introduces FPGA design method and timing sequence analysis technology to capture timing sequence of RVD key data and trace phase relation of uplink and downlink signal. Furthermore, this paper has improved fault trigger and uplink injection method. This testing environment plays an important role in development process of RVD software. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
