Design and development of pallet extruder

Abstract

A three-dimensional object is created by laying successive layers of material known as Additive Manufacturing. 3D Printing is one among the machine which uses additive manufacturing technology. As 3D printing is the latest technology used to manufacture parts, special importance is given to the parts that are made with 3D Printer. In the present work recycling of plastic material or scrap are using for the filament used in conventional 3D Printer which decreases the cost. An extruder prototype by using pallets is developed by considering the basic principles of 3D printing techniques to ensure the working of pallet extruder; thereby reducing the cost to its half and also used as a multi-functioning extruder and it will be a great support to the 3D printing machine manufacturing companies.
