Abstract

It would exceed the scope of the present work to mention the thousands of parts and components of a hydropower station, but the major parts are listed in Table 2.1. Since the presence of any part depends upon the type of plant, a detailed discussion on the function of these parts is presented later, in Chaps. 4 and 5 of this book. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
