Abstrak Rendahnya kemampuan fisik siswa khususnya daya tahan aerobik di SMPN 1 Sampang, tujuan pelaksanaan riset ini ialah untuk memahami ada ataupun tidak pengaruhnya metode latihan interval with mini hurdle dan metode latihan fartlek time to distance terhadap peningkatan VO2max. Pelaksanaan riset mempergunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain two-group pretest-posttest. Sampel yang dipakai 20 siswa SMPN 1 Sampang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pacer. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data yang dipakai ialah uji-t yang bertujuan agar memahami pengaruh metode latihan interval dengan mini rintangan dan metode pelatihan time to distance fartlek untuk memberi peningkatan VO2max. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh latihan interval with mini hurdle dan Fartlek time to distance terhadap peningkatan VO2max yang dibuktikan dengan nilai 0,000 > 0,05 dan 0,000 < 0,05, menandakan yaitu metode Fartlek time to distance exercise berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan Vo2max siswa. Hasil analisis uji sampel mandiri perbedaan antara metode Latihan Interval with mini hurdle dan Fartlek time to distance pada peningkatan VO2max siswa SMPN 1 Sampang. Dengan nilai 0,548 > 0,05, hasil riset menampilkan yaitu Sig > 0,05, disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan diantara Latihan Interval with mini hurdle dan Fartlek time to distance pada peningkatan VO2max Siswa SMPN 1 Sampang. Abstract The low physical ability of students, especially aerobic endurance at SMPN 1 Sampang, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interval training with mini hurdle and fartlek time to distance to increase VO2Max. This type of experimental research uses a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used in this study amounted to 20 students of SMPN 1 Sampang who were divided into two groups, the instrument in this study used a pacer test. Data analysis techniques use t-tests to determine the effect of interval training with mini hurdle and fartlek time on distance in increasing Vo2Max. Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of interval training with mini hurdle and Fartlek time to distance on increasing Vo2Max as evidenced by the values of .000 > 0.05 and .000 < 0.05, showing that the Fartlek time to distance exercise method had a significant effect on increasing student Vo2Max. The results of the independent sample test analysis of the difference between the Interval Training method with mini hurdle and Fartlek time to distance on increasing Vo2Max of SMPN 1 Sampang students. With a value of 0.548 > 0.05, the results showed that Sig > 0.05, it was concluded that there was a difference between Interval Training with mini hurdle and Fartlek time to distance on the increase in Vo2Max of SMPN 1 Sampang Students.
