Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: We will assess the effect of the topical application of oils versus that of other topical oils, emollients, placebo or no treatment: 1. in the prevention of dry skin in term (= 37 weeks of gestation) newborn infants; and 2. in the treatment of dry skin in term (= 37 weeks of gestation) newborn infants.
