This study aims to understand how the children six years old and the teacher of Physical Education evaluate learning in the transition from two first stages of basic education, especially regarding the worked practices and content at every stage of schooling. Accompanying ethnographic in Physical Education, 25 children (8 girls and 17 boys) in the class of 1st year of secondary Education of March to December in 2014 accounting for 36 observations in loco. Using as a methodological tool: diary data, popular games and imagery records (photos and videos produced by children). The analysis showed that the diversity of body practices enabled children to understand the specifics of learning in physical education, highlighting what content were developed at each stage of education and also the lessons that reveal not only the body ownership of the content but also the cognitive understanding of what is learned in this curricular component.
