Abstract

Electronics deals with groups of electronic circuits and components which are designed to build up complex measurement, control or power-supplying functional systems, including signal detection and processing, data storage and display, computation, power distribution, and many others. An exceptionally broad range of novel technologies have been invented and developed, such as electric power conversion/generation and transmission, electronic signal and information processing, telecommunication, automation, and robotics. These, in turn, have made it possible for people to manufacture a wide array of products, from consumer to industrial, and defense. Indeed, it can be said that emergence of electronic industry is one of the most significant revolutions of the twentieth century.
