Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of career development and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at PT Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu Tengah, either partially or simultaneously. There are several factors that will be discussed in this study, including Career Development (X₁), and Work Motivation (X₂). The object of this research is the employees of PT Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu Tengah, totaling 86 people. In this study the authors used data collection methods by means of observation and distributing questionnaires or questionnaires. There are several data analysis techniques used in this study, including using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, analysis of respondents' responses, multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficients, and hypothesis testing. From the results of multiple linear regression, the regression equation is as follows: Y=10.875 + 0.185(X₁) + 0.198(X₂). The results of the coefficient of determination test (R²) show an R Square value of 155. The results of the t-test on the Career Development variable (X₁) show tcount> ttable (2.235>1.988). and Work Motivation (X₂) shows tcount>ttable (2,572>1,988). The results of the F test on the Career Development (X₁) and Work Motivation (X₂) variables show fcount>ftable (7.623>3.111). So from the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the Career Development (X₁) and Work Motivation (X₂) variables have a partial or simultaneous effect on the Job Satisfaction of PT Bio Nusantara Teknologi.
