Abstract

The various uses of fire in agricultural practice are discussed in a framework of three general purposes: (1) waste disposal, {2) disease control, and (3) land and crop management.In each purpose the use of fire or burning is discussed in relation to the general requirements and to the problems of air pollution control. © 1966 Air & Waste Management Association.
