ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa setelah menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Hasil analisis presentase aktivitas menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata aktivitas guru adalah 72,6% dengan kategori baik dan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa adalah 74% dengan kategori baik. Hasil analisis uji n-gain menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil belajar fisika siswa adalah 0,60% dengan kategori cukup. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa setelah menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning efektif dalam pembelajaran fisika khususnya dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar fisika siswa di kelas XI IPA. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the increase in teacher and student activity after using the Problem Based Learning model and to know the improvement of student physics learning results before and after using Problem Based Learning. This research is research into Quasi Experimental Design. Sampling using saturated sampling. Results of analysis of the activity percentage show that the average score of the teacher activity was 72,6% with good categories and the average student activity score was 74% with good categories. The results of the N-gain test analysis showed that the average score of student physics learning results was 0.60% with sufficient categories. The results reveal that there is an increase in teacher and student activity and there is an increase of student physics learning outcomes after using the Problem Based Learning model. From the results of data analysis can be concluded that the model of Problem Based learning is effective in learning physics, especially in increasing the activity and results of student physics learning in the class XI IPA.
