Abstract

TOPSIS is a method for multi-objective policy-decision, which can be applied in campus emergency management capacity evaluation. In this paper, principles and calculation procedures of TOPSIS method were introduced in detail and the TOPSIS method was applied in the campus emergency management capacity evaluation in HeBei universities. The results showed that TOPSIS method, combined with the campus emergency management capacity evaluation, not only could confirm the quality degree of every evaluation object but also could assess more objects at the same time and make comparison between different evaluation objects for campus emergency management capacity evaluation. That is mean TOPSIS method is feasible and instructive. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.
