Abstract

In this chapter, the influence of combustion parameters on NOx emissions and carbon burnout is discussed briefly. On the one hand, the effects of coal type, chemical equivalent and residence time, temperature, moisture and ash content, air dynamic field and flame species, particle size, boiler load, and OFA nozzle on NOx emissions are investigated. On the other hand, the influence of combustion parameters, such as the operational conditions of the boiler and the coal properties, OFA nozzle, primary air, inner secondary air and outer secondary air and swirling intensity on carbon burnout are studied.
