Abstract

Today, the workflow technologies have been used in quite a lot of web based business system development. However, in most of these type systems, even they ware designed and developed with component and MVC technologies to improve the system flexibilities and scalability, but the workflow procedures are still not easily changed and are not satisfied to the enterprise requirements for the business and market changing. Here by research on the XML and MVC, it uses XML based data-driven idea to design workflow based business web systems and provide its design model. The practice indicates this design model can meet enterprise flexible business workflow requirements. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
