Abstract

Geographical information systems are making much progress. The author speaks of geodetic orientated vector-based systems; but for geography grid systems are important, and for environmental purposes these can be hybridized. The author shows how these systems can be used by the Federal government, the Lander and towns and looks into the future especially to the decentralizing of work. -D.J.Davis
