Abstract

Internet has opened door for new style of marketing. People are using Internet for getting reviews and making opinion about products, movies, or services. Online reviews play important role in electronic commerce, but at the same time, it is also evident that online reviews are not authentic because fake reviews are formulated to gain competitive advantage by the competitors. Spammers write fake reviews to promote or demote target products which deceive customers. In this paper, authors have designed a model to detect fake review and spams along with blocking of such reviewers.
