Contribución del transporte aéreo a la conectividad territorial. El caso de Colombia

Abstract

This article analyzes the influence and contribution of air transport to territorial connectivity, using Colombia as a case study. The invaluable contribution of air transport to connectivity between the different regions of the country has been possible thanks to the development of a set of public policies for such industry, which have been implemented uninterruptedly since the mid-1990s and are still in progress. Therefore, the analysis in this research focuses on the approach of the government in the design and implementation of these policies and how the air transport sector, in its evolution in the last two decades, positively impacts the territorial connectivity of the country, which we present and analyze with indicators.
