Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method for recognizing architectural symbols. The method is based on the description of the model through a set of constraints on geometrical features, and on propagating these constraints through a network, following an idea first proposed by Messmer and Bunke. One of the advantages of this approach is the possibility to incrementally build and update the model, when new symbols have to be taken into account.
