Abstract

The growing need for coaching formats that combine an increased supplier or user flexibility with a favorable price-performance ratio, has made coaching increasingly open for the use of modern media in recent years. Modern media allow on the one hand, basic communication between coach and client independent of location and time, via telephone, video calling technologies and/or via electronically generated and transmitted texts. On the other hand, modern media enable the development of content-related problem-solving tools, which can also be used in face-to-face coaching settings. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the technical and conceptual features of the available approaches and offers. 19.1
