Abstract

Chapter 8 analyses select challenges arising within the “new media” landscape and specifically several disruptive elements ushered in by digital entertainment. These challenges are prompting the entities operating in the landscape to adopt mixed formulas, characterizing the efforts on their part to preserve their assets from the unfolding threats and at the same time to innovate.
