Abstract

The article aims to analyse Mexico's accountability commitments to the Open Government Partnership across its four action plans to determine whether there are changes or modifications that show a transition and effectiveness in accountability towards greater involvement of civil society and technological innovation. Through a content analysis, the study reveals the existence of a transition towards greater civil involvement, but also a long way to go to achieve dialogue communication through technology. In this way, it is perceived that accountability commitments have been channelled to generate products focused on transparency, without determining mechanisms for the control, evaluation, and monitoring of government actions.
