The management structure of a large commodity company is very complex, which causes problems in communications, in coordinating management actions, and there is a danger of distortion and loss of information. Particular difficulties begin when combining environmental and innovation management. Solving the problems of environmental innovation management is much easier on the information and communication technology platform. The goal of the contribution is to develop an information flow management algorithm when introducing environmental innovation management. The leading method for the study of this problem is the method of modeling, which allows considering this problem as a focused and organized process of integrating environmental innovation management, subject to the application of information technology. As a result of the study, it is possible to single out the conclusions obtained in the course of analyzing the state and trends in the development of the digital economy in Russia and abroad, as well as its role in the implementation of environmental innovation management. An algorithm is proposed for the use of information flows in the implementation of environmental management at large oil companies, highlighting four levels of negative environmental impact. The practical significance of the contribution is the possibility of using the proposed approach in practical activities of large oil companies in implementing innovation integrated management practices at all levels, including top management.
