Abstract

THIS PAPER EXPLORES THE POSSIBILITY OF ASCRIBING SUCH INTENTIONAL PREDICATES AS BELIEF, EXPERIENCE, ACTION, DESIRE AND FEELING, TO GROUPS AS WELL AS INDIVIDUALS. THE USE OF THE FIRST-PERSON PLURAL "WE" IS EXAMINED AS THE KEY TO THE EXISTENCE OF GROUPS THAT CAN BE CONSIDERED COMMUNITIES
