Abstract

Immigration from third-world countries into Denmark for the past thirty to forty years has challenged our way of life and allowed for a look into other cultures and traditions. Particularly, the past twenty years have forced us to become aware of other customs, notions of family life different from our own, and the etymology of words we hardly knew before.
