Abstract

This paper argues that the moves by police and consultancy firms to successfully enforce recent computer misuse legislation requires the bringing together of investigative, legal, courtroom and computing skills in an extension of forensic science. The term suggested for this new discipline is computer forensics'. © 1992 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
