Abstract

The interest of organisations in becoming more environmentally sustainable by adopting green ICT solution is constantly growing. More and more initiatives have been proposed on energy efficiency computing, ranging from hardware to software solutions [10]. Accordingly, energy efficiency has become an important issue for industry as energy consumption of ICT systems grows and related energy footprint into realise important financial savings while decreasing the environmental impact of their systems—in terms of, for example, greenhouse gas emissions, e-waste and heat generation [9].
