Potential Impact of the Latest Developments in the Bouregreg Estuary

Abstract

In this work, I tried to give first, a global presentation of the Bouregreg estuary, which concerns its geographical position and human activities at the level of the Bouregreg valley. According to the bibliographical results that have been found concerning the various developments at the level of the Bouregreg estuary, first of all the solid and liquid sanitation networks in order to clean up the estuary. Transport infrastructure that will stimulate the economic sector, to find solutions for traffic problems in both cities. Finally, Marina will boost the tourism sector in the Wilaya of Rabat and Salé. The completion of the Bouregreg project has positive and negative effects on the Rabat Salé region at the socio economic, cultural, biological, water quality and hydraulic levels.
