Abstract

In this chapter we provide an alternate viewof the KIII model derived from the laws of complexity (Stretching and Folding) rather than the laws of physics. This approach requires the use of InfinitesimalDiffeomorphisms (ID) in place of Ordinary Differential Equations.We indicate how IDs originate and then use them to replicate several examples from the work of Freeman and Kozma. By viewing the KIII theory as a purelymathematical system we anticipate that theKIII Theorywill be made more accessible to researchers and scientists unfamiliar with the details of neuroscience and thus offer advances to the KIII Theory from other perspectives.
