Abstract

This paper proposes an approach to integrating electronics studies in robotics courses for high school students and pre-service teachers of technology mechanics. The studies focus on building electronic sensors, interfacing them to the robot platform, programming and operating robot behaviors. The educational study shows the learners' progress in electronics, thinking and learning skills, and attitudes towards engineering. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
