Abstract

In this paper, we introduce an approach for designing and deploying organizations on large scale Multi-Agent Robotic Systems. Lying on the well-known organizational meta-model AGR, we propose a role assignment protocol for automatically distributing the roles over the robots. We have run a series of simulations to validate the approach's feasibility. The simulations show that the protocol is well scalable as well. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
