Abstract

The purpose of this study was to make the 2019 pit annual design and 2019 disposal based on the production target and then design the coal mining sequence for 3 months. This study uses a short term plan that is under 1 year using Minescape v 5.7. This research is in the Air Benakat Formation with 5 coal seams. In this study, we need some secondary data, namely; regional geological map, topography map, boundary LOM, actual design 2018, cropline data, production targets, and Stipping Ratio. PT. XYZ actually has a thickness of 35 m, top soil 1 - 1.5 m and 4000-4500 kcal calories with lignite coal class. The design pit 2019 on the S4 and S3 seam with a relatively uniform distribution and has a slope of 10˚-15˚. Coal reserves of 1,085,785 tons and overburden of 3,480,355 BCM with a swell factor of 1,8 which was at SR 3.2. The digging process uses the free digging method. Mining geometry parameters, namely; 35˚ high wall, 16˚ overall slope, 15˚ low wall, width is 10 m, and high is 6 m. The monthly production target in 2019 is 90,500 tons of coal with an overburden of 290,000 BCM. The third month design pit has 91,899 tons, covering an area of 11 Ha. Disposal 2019 have covering an area of 20 Ha, 8 levels, high is 5 m, 45˚ slope, located at 50m-85m elevation. Disposal of the first month with a capacity of 291,128 LCM. Disposal of second month with a capacity of 287,000 LCM. Disposal of third month with a capacity of 296,292 LCM. The first month pit design has stripping ratio 3.1, the second month pit design has stripping ratio 3.2, the third month pit design has stripping ratio 3.2.
