Abstract

The quantity of sand particles adhering to soybean roots is directly related to the degree of water stress imposed. Adherence is apparently by means of mucigel in the region of the root tip and is assisted by root hairs in older regions. Copyright © 1975, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
