Abstract

Choosing the proper test concentration and vehicle for testing allergens is imperative for reliable patch testing. This chapter provides all test concentrations mentioned in this book plus all allergens commercially available with their test concentration, vehicle, and supplier(s). Chemicals having caused immediate contact reactions (contact urticaria), photosensitivity, or patch test sensitization are identified. All commonly used abbreviations are supplied with their full chemical names.
