Abstract

According to the monitoring results of decentralized water supply in Chernivtsi City, pollution maps of city's area have been drawn. Tendencies of change of the most important pollutants have been analyzed. The analysis of death rate, cardiovascular disease, oncological, bronchial asthma frequencies have been studied, along with the ratio of birth defects in relation to potable water quality. A mathematical model of qualitative and quantitative composition of potable water influence on population death rate and oncological disease instances is presented. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2011.
