Abstract

This paper belongs to computational linguistics, with reference to French Sign Language (FSL) which is used within French deaf community, Our proposed modelling is intended: to provide computational modelling of a semantico-cognitive formalisation of the FSL linguistic structure, and to allow its implementation and integration in applications dedicated to FSL, such as analysis in image processing, automatic recognition, generation of writing forms or realisation by signing avatars. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.
