Abstract

The modified osteo-odonto-keratoprosthesis (MOOKP) is called so for the fundamental modifications and innovations that Falcinelli and coll. (Table 21.1) [1, 2] made to Strampelli’s second technique [3, 4] (OOKP) where the tooth was no longer cut horizontally to put the optic cylinder inside the pulp’s canal while it was cut longitudinally that is parallel to the pulp’s canal.
